I'm too young to have kids that old, but I love telling My sister and Nieces about some of the games I played before they were born. There's just something so special about sharing things from your youth with your younger family.
One of my favorites is when I was showing my younger sister, cousin, and one of their friends some of the different old Nintendo Controllers. It was fun to see them react to the NES only having A and B, or the GameCube Controller's odd, but great button layout, or the N64 Controller just in general (lol), and teaching them how to play the games with said Controllers.
If I ever have kids (who knows if I'll even find someone to have kids with lol), I'm going to make sure they can experience these old systems so that they can brag to their friends at school how they've played games that would probably have been forgotten to time if it wasn't for collectors and preserveors like us. XD
