Whats the end game for your collecting?

My wife asked me this and I was curious to hear everyone's take. I never really collected with an end goal in mind because I just appreciate gaming and the thrill of the hunt searching for gems. Plus the thought of parting with any of them just hurts lol But if I had to answer, I hope to eventually pass them along as an investment to the kids or (hopefully it never comes to this point) as a source of emergency funds.
