Assembling a team for a story-driven game about coming-of-age

I'm thinking something similar to Ladybird (the Greta Gerwig film). I'm an English major at UCLA - I am based in LA all year - with only rudimentary knowledge of coding and no artistic ability. Since I'm only a college student, this is a passion project.
Edit: Wanted to mention that my interest lies in writing/story design!
