I've been working on an indie game project for a few years off and on, but I'm trying to make a push to bring it to Kickstarter by February. I lost my original artist to a full time job a while back, and I'm hoping to find someone who can match his style.
I'm not enough of an artist to be able to describe the style. (Anyone who can tell me what this style might be called would earn my thanks and gratitude, along with an upvote.) Here are a couple of images that demonstrate the style:
I would be commissioning portraits of several more characters and a few enemies. If it's also in your skill set, I could use some UI graphics to spruce up the game as well, but no stress if that's not your thing.
Please show me links to artwork that you've done that convince me you can match the style. It doesn't need to be exactly the right style or subject matter, but if everything you have is pixel art or anime style, I probably won't be convinced you can do the job.
I have some cash to pay for art, or can offer revenue sharing from the project, or some combination of the two. Please let me know what you need to make or whether you'd be interested in revenue sharing to reduce the up front costs.
You can contact me using the "contact us" link on this page. I'm periodically available to answer questions here as well.
