Post Body

Alright guys. I work 5am-2pm everyday. My days off are like Mondays and Thursday’s. Needless to say I never have a chance for vacations.

I went to the WinStar 3 weeks ago. 3 hour drive from Austin, Texas. $150 a night. So roughly 2 days of gambling.

I went to Vegas last august (stayed at the Paris) with my brother and his girlfriend. Now the WinStar sent me a two free night stay and I have to use it before the 20th (I go back to work next week).

I requested off work and then called the WinStar only for them to tell me they are booked solid and I can’t go. FML.

So now I’m debating do I just spend the extra money? Mainly short notice flight. $250-$300 round trip. Then pay whatever for 2-3 night stay in Vegas? Clearly I’ll probably blow $600. That’s what I spent last time. Wasn’t bad.

Or do I drive 4 hours to lake Charles and stay at the golden nugget casino.

The downside is I’m by myself. I got no one to go with. The WinStar was fine for a solo trip but there’s not much to do just the casino.

I’ve never been to lake Charles so I have no idea what that’s like. Vegas is Vegas lol but is it lame for a solo trip?
