Alright guys, went to vegas last year for my first time ever. It was more of a family thing and tourist bs. Played everything for fun but more just seeing family. I’m pretty much a rookie with casinos.
I went to the WinStar last month joined the rewards program. I ended up taking $220 in cash and making $550. I got sent a free two night stay email. My work is closing for two weeks for remodeling so perfect timing!
I lost $100 playing slots. Decided to do video poker and won all the money playing blackjack. I did a little bit of roulette. Started with $25 and got up to $120.
A majority of it was all from machine black jack.
When I went it was a Monday/Tuesday, I saw some $5 minimums for blackjack tables over in the NewYork area that were closed.
The only open tables were $20-$50 minimums. Now maybe I’m a rookie but didn’t seem profitable to do it with only a couple hundred. Keep in mind I like doing different games and trying things out for fun. Imo, $20-$50 minimums if you’re losing you could easily lose all that money instantly. Unless you got a grand or two?
From a profitable pov if I were to take let’s say $1,500 for two days is that a good amount? I’m obviously not a high stakes guy. I don’t know what a good amount to bring is or how much I should be betting minimum wise…
Should I continue to just play machine blackjack? Any advice on games or certain things that are good?
