I was raped in Galveston by a now ex partner about a year ago, I was 15 and he was 17. It was coercive and honestly a lot of he said/she said but I had genuine proof.

After I reported it to GPD he was petty and accused me back, however I had texts of him admitting it, and a video of it happening that he took, and a lot of other stuff that I submitted with the report.

Shortly after this he started uploading revenge porn of me and just generally being a nuisance about everything. I wasn't innocent during this either as I got fed up and texted his friends and family about what he did (though he did this first, but whatever). However, BEFORE doing that, I called the detective assigned to my case and GPD multiple times for several days in a row to tell them he was actively uploading revenge porn of me and they never even returned my calls.

To this day they have never reached out to me with an update, said the case was closed, or anything. And also to this day my rapist is still bothering me online (he's 19 now and i'm 17). I want to reach out to HPD but what would even be the point if they're just going to make me retell the story again and again and then do absolutely nothing. It's been so long I don't even have a lot of the evidence because who wants to keep a video of them being raped on their phone?

Has anyone else experienced this with GPD or did I just get unlucky.
