this post is ridiculous, but im bored and i used to live here before moving, so i was curious if anyone else actually believes Galveston is haunted.

i only lived there for a year, and honestly i never understood the haunting hype. the only thing scarier than the ghost stories were the people i was surrounded by there on a daily basis, the local crackheads camping at the family dollar on ave q, and seeing the Dickens festival without context (seriously why does everyone there pretend it's normal?)

i never got the ominous vibe, the weird paranormal experiences, or anything else anyone talked about there. the only strange experience i've had is feeling constantly called back to it after moving. i've lived in a myriad of cities and states but Galveston is the only place i constantly find myself thinking about.
