The first round is here!

The rules are simple - Find the best story from each series and produce the best series from that! Each post in the qualifying round will have a poll of up to 10 serials, in a random order, and you vote for all the serials you think should progress to the final match of the story. Whether you choose to do all the ones you like or just your absolute most favourite one is up to you. The top 2 winners from each qualifying round go into the final where we vote on the top story of each set.

In order to allow slightly late voters, voting closes 96 hours later or whenever I put up the next but one thread, and the results will be posted in that thread.

Finally, don't forget to come back here and comment which ones you voted, or didn't vote for, and why.
