Rewatched Ep 03 Under the Lake. Concerning the scene where The Doctor is trying to figure out the stasis chamber once it's brought in the base. He says it should be the pilot, so why do I think it's not.
Well, around here on /r/Gallifrey a lot of people have made the observation that it's most likely The Doctor who is in the deadlock sealed stasis chamber. Makes of lot of sense that, especially with ghost Capaldi sodding about. No qualms with that theory.
But I come back to my initial intuition about that box the first time I watched. Both Clara and The Doctor theorize about he/she/it in the box for a few lines before The Doctor exclaims "Everytime I think it can't get more fantastic it surprises me; it's astonishing, it's evil; I want to kiss it to death." (Which, aside, I was hoping was a sort of Michael Moore completely out of context construct in the preview clips, not a vomit. Anyway)
It's Astonishing. It's Evil. I want to kiss it to death.
One other quote for you.
Oh! I just had a very clever idea.
For no particularly thoughtful reason I'm expect the box to open up to reveal that she's so fine. She so fine she blow my mind. Hey!
Egg on my face tomorrow night may be, but I'm not expecting The Doctor tomorrow night, I'm expecting The Master, erm, I meant The Mistress in that box.
Feel free to prattle on ye mortals! (No. Seriously. Let's talk or banter or whatnot...)
