Obviously spoilers if you haven’t seen the finale.

So human parents mean Ruby is ordinary. Sooo the whole snow thing is what? I’ve seen people speculate that it’s the reality distortion field of the Tardis… otherwise seemingly there’s no explanation to date. So why would the Tardis feel the need to do this? You want to distort reality so people look like they’re in the same time era, or disguise a police box, I’m on board. But what possible purpose would it serve to have it snow around Ruby? And why only Ruby? Others are in that distortion field as well. And most importantly there has to be at least one instance of the snow when they aren’t within 73 yards of the Tardis. I kind of feel like it was a greater distance in fighting the goblins in the first episode but I don’t have the stomach to rewatch these episodes. I just did not like the writing this season at all.
