Gallstones scans
Post Body

So glad I found this sub and hoping to get some advice really.

18 months ago, I had an episode with my stomach which resulted in being in hospital for 4 days. During the time, I had an internal scan and they concluded that I have gallstones and the advice was to have my gallbladder removed.

This worried me as I'd heard some horror stories, so passed on the surgery and didn't go ahead.

Fast forward 18 months and nothing - no flare ups, bloatedness, etc.

I've slightly changed my diet (not by much) and the only change I've noticed is that I'm much more "regular" in the toilet.

So, question really is can I go back for a scan, is there any alternatives to surgery and finally, can I just live with it?

Sorry if these questions are a repeat of what's already been posted, I've just joined today
