Awaiting Surgery

Hi! I started having pain in my gallbladder about three weeks ago. I think... Anyway, they did an ultrasound and it showed I have gallbladder sludge and the surgeon I spoke to recommended, for multiple reasons, that I should have it removed. So I said yes, now I'm waiting on the surgery to be scheduled.

In the meantime, the past three to four days I've had yellow BMs, which Google says could be a sign of gallbladder issues. Should I be concerned? Should I contact my doctor? I have a hard time telling when I should speak up or not.
