Nervous they won’t find anything on HIDA.

Post Body

I have my scan this upcoming Tuesday. I’ve been in constant pain since Feb 25th. I’ve had weird GI issues for a few years I kept putting off. My doc thinks it’s my gallbladder but my ultrasound and blood work came back normal. I need something to be done, it’s a burning, spasming, squeezing pain that’s constant. In right side of chest and in my right shoulder and shoulder blade.

What do I need to do before HIDA scan, it says online 6 hrs before to eat something fatty? What about the night before? And then fasting 6 hrs before? Will it show how the ducts open and close etc?

I’m on a PPi will that effect scan???I want the scan to diagnose the gallbladder issue so I can get surgery. Thank you I’m just nervous.
