Both the selfie and main camera have issues compared to my s21 ultra and s23

I had an s23 and s21 ultra before the Flip4.
I noticed selfies look washed out...and the main camera photos aren't as sharp or detailed as my s23 was...is that because the 12 mp camera on the flip4 is just really bad?

This is a lifestyle phone, not a camera phone. It does regular phone stuff fine, but it's not best at any of them.
