I know there's a bunch of these posts and I know they're a super downer, but I just really need to get this off my chest.

I really regret buying my z flip 3. I absolutely LOVED the thing the entire first year, rambling about the convenience and showing off at any moment I could. I still ramble a bit about it now when people ask into it.

Thing is though, the folding really became a gimmick for me.. Yeah, it takes up way less space and it's an amazingly small form factor, but I'm starting to worry about the screen. Despite replacing the screen protector, it often looks pretty gross with all the nail dents, in the cold the screen protector will lift up, and in makes a crackling plastic sound when folding and unfolding. All of that along with noticing the crease more than in the beginning (I know right? Shock, I'd imagine it was worse when first getting it) has just been making me miss a non-folding phone a bit...

I'm considering switching back to my old s8, but I'm so nervous cause I feel ripped off a bit. Looking through my old pictures, a lot of pics on the flip just don't look as nice as pictures I took with my old pixel 4 or iPhone 11 that I had before getting the flip. Despite it being newer and waaay more expensive.. It just really disappointed me. I felt ripped off by this NEW and way more expensive phone preforming just as good if not at times worse than my 5 year old s8.

I know the specs are different, but y'know I at least expected some of Samsung's photo processing to make it better or something..

It's just with a super heavy heart that I have to say, I'm getting so tired of my flip, and I really don't know where to go from here. The resell price is horrendous and I just feel stuck with a device not for me.
