So the title is a little misleading. I got this phone about a month ago and it's running on lollipop. It seems if I try to do more than 2 things at once it will become slow, unresponsive, and freeze. I can either wait it out or just remove the battery and restart it.
I have to use Advance task killer to clear the programs almost everytime I open it, and I also have to clear all the tasks from the built in task manager almost every time I open it.
It seems to freeze the most when if I'm trying to use GPS and stream music over bluetooth, or if I'm on snapchat and I receive a message. I'm wondering if maybe there's a way to fix this. Would rooting it and upgrading to Marshmellow help? If so, how would I go about doing that?
Edit: I had an s4 before this, and beside the battery life being awful the s4 would run a thousand programs at once and never skip a beat. Does this just have something to do with fualt programming for the s5?
