How to go 4.4.2-->5.0 and root without tripping knox (0x0)

Hey all,

I just did this myself so figured there could be someone else who is wondering if and how this is possible.

Disclaimer: I have a UK SM G900F that I bought unlocked. I can't comment for other devices, but I think any will work give or take.

You will need: any android version 4.4.2 or below. Go to settings and about device and under baseband version you will have something like G900FXX******. You will need it to be XXU1ANE2. If it isn't, please flash it using this tutorial.

Now you have that installed, follow this tutorial to the letter.

That is it.
