I just moved from a Pixel to S10e and I'm annoyed by the fact I know absolutely nothing about a notification when the screen is off. I have always used my phones vibrate-only. Previously, my Moto X and Pixel both:
Had different vibrations for different apps.(Fixed with Lightshow Legacy app suggested by gilromau below!)Showed the notification on the AOD when it came in, without needing to tap (which now only gives the icon and no text)
I think Edge Lighting is supposed to fix the second point but it only works with Snapchat, and not Outlook, Business Calendar, Gmail, Join, Tasker, Google Voice, Slack, Rocket Chat, GroupMe, Google Messages, Weather Timeline, Sleep as Android, or any other apps that could buzz my phone. I have not been able to get this guide for Glipse Notifications to work.
What can I do? This feels like a huge drop in usability.
