My phone was being really horrible so I went on Samsung Kies 3 and did firmware upgrade and initalization. I got an error about something fail to write to disk or something like that.

Now I always get the "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies & try again".

The problem is when I go to firmware emergency recovery in kies, my note 4 does not show up in the "list of devices requiring emergency recovery". When I plug it in I also get a pop up saying something about unsupported device or something like that.

If I try to do firmware upgrade and initialization instead then it asks for model name and s/n (it didn't before), I can find the model name but I'm under sprint and can't find S/N. I read some posts about sprint using the hex number but that did not work for me.

Is there anything I can do to get it to finish the firmware upgrade?
