Does anyone actually like One UI 2?

I've been using Nova Pro the entire time I've had this phone. I just switched to One UI this morning so I can use Android 10 gestures... Holy fuuuck does it look hideous.
App folders look abysmal, and you can't open a folder then pick an app without reaching across the entire screen. Everything about it looks/reminds me of much older and outdated Android versions.
I really like the gestures and missed them a ton when I switched from my Pixel 3 XL to the Note 10 so I was excited that Samsung finally got them! I don't know if I can live with this though hahaha.
Does anyone know a way to get gestures working on Nova? (Without rooting or ADB)?
