One side of Galaxy Buds+ sounds muffled compared to the other.

So I've had my Galaxy Buds for a few months but recently the right side has become much quieter than the left. I read some other posts on here and elsewhere about how it could be earwax that got inside which is confusing because I clean my ears everyday. Anyway I tried the qtips with isopropyl alcohol trick which didn't work and I tried prying the silver mesh off like I saw in one video but I can't get it off and don't want to break it. Any suggestions?
