Are the Buds+ worth upgrading to? (From Anker Liberty 2)
Post Body

I've had Anker Liberty 1s, now 2s, and they're solid earbuds. They've got a ton of cool features on the app and fantastic battery life. They sound really good and I love being able to adjust the EQ precisely how I want it.

My main issue with the Anker Liberty 2s is that their mic SUCKS. To the other person, I'm told I sound like I'm far away and speaking into a pillow. I use my earbuds a lot for phone calls, so in your opinion, how is the mic on the Buds ? The best comparison I have is that I'd like it to be as clear as the airpods mics.

My other issue with the Liberty 2s are the tap controls. They are terrible. I have to tap them so aggressively that they get shoved into my ear or fall out, and by that point I just change it from my phone. Are the controls on the Buds easy and responsive?

Also, are you able to use the left bud by itself, with the right in the case? Will I lose any features since I'm using them with a One Plus phone and not a Samsung? I'm thinking of buying them refurbished from Best Buy, what's your experience with that?

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions!
