I have a friend who is 86. She is trying to live a little before she dies. She has money, and flies private charter jets so can afford a boat hire as long as it isn't like $200k.
She's asking me if I would help her plan a trip. She doesn't want to do an organized group tour as she gets a little embarrassed around groups of strangers, etc. She's social, but not looking to make new friends at this point.
I doubt she can get on and off a dingy or do much in the water except wade and maybe if held-held could see some of the underwater wildlife. Her hope is to see as much wildlife there, as much beauty, and I'd hope to protect her from the hassles as much as possible.
She will be going in early July (target date) with her 60yo son and daughter. So, three people.
Trying to avoid as may middlemen as possible as everyone always has their hand out, but then she is not cheap so we 'get' she will need a LOT of local assistance. (Best to support the locals.)
Should I go down there and check the opal out in advance, and try to find solutions, or can this be done here is my wonder? (Much easier on my wallet, and soul, to stay home and type lol.)
Thanks for any and all suggestions!
