Senator: Telan Vratix. Despite the humans having control over most of the decisions on Thyferra, a High Canir was chosen to represent the planet. The idea behind this was probably to dismiss the thought that the native intelligent species could be suppressed by human immigrants, but one can only guess. Telan was named after his species to solidify the concept of a culture centered around the hive mentality. He currently assumes the role of a "male" Vratix. During his life he alway tried to broaden the representation and influence of his kind and made a name for oneself with his public activites and programs. He got a little "speech" (in lack of a better word) defect regarding grammar and spelling and such, but that won't hold him back when it comes to representing his homeworld.

Aide: Mar'kos Venin. A young man from Thyferra, on Coruscant to help the insectoid around the city and clear up any misconceptions that could come up. He is a long time friend of Telan and always sympathized with the natives on his home world, but his relation to a major player in the bacta industry makes him the ideal person to help represent the human settlers on the planet.

Off-Planet: Clane Venin. Aforementionend major player. Has contacts everywhere a good businessman should have them, and got his brother a place on the side of the senator. Has a reputation as an honest and fair enterpriser, but there is nothing you couldn't buy with money.
