" It has been snowing endlessly for several years now in the land of Eistoria. This endless winter is known as Permafrost, and no one knows who caused it or why, but some think it was to change the tide of a war, but all sides had lost because of it. Eistoria's people and most of the wildlife are steadily dying out due to the cold, lack of food and dangerous beings and creatures attacking any that dare venture outside the safety of their homes. The storms were summoned by and unknown evil and due to the dangers, no one has been able to figure out the cause or how to stop it. The Great Wizard Alibaster in the capitol city of Avantris, however thinks they have found a solution, but it requires precious materials being delivered from the city of Aguefort City. Due to the treacherous roads, the wizard had requested an entourage of the city's best to escort a caravan to Avantris. They will have to brave the wilds in the storm while being hunted by various evils who vow to destroy anyone who dare make the journey.

Meanwhile in Aguefort City, a royal woman named Anastasia has contracted her shy Knight Sigrid to aid the Conjurer Simon and gather four other skilled specialists to escort her out of the city in an attempt to stop the ongoing war, but who knows who may be trying to stop her from leaving."
