There is an infestation of roaches in my gaggia classic pro 😭😭😭. I just purchased it in May this year. I live on top of a restaurant block — the occasional 2-5 sightings a year was common, but one of the restaurants below closed and a hoarder neighbour moved out — they needed somewhere to go and this is a whole new situation.

I am heartbroken. My GCP was one of the fanciest things I’ve ever bought myself, seriously. Replacing it is not realistic. Please do not recommend I toss it, or talk about how gross this is. Believe me, I know. If you don’t have anything nice or helpful to say please respectfully move on.

If you’ve ever dealt with such a thing, please let me know how you resolved the issue? i am working on pest control in my unit, but I particularly mean clearing and sanitizing my machine. There are wires everywhere and I’m nervous about cleaning out the insides.

Bonus points for solutions that won’t potentially trigger my asthmatic cat.
