Anyone have a simple explanation for how the GC works, mechanically?
Post Body

I know there are three switches, on/off, brew, and steam. But I'm unclear how the circuit works, mechanically. For example, how does the steam wand only produce steam and why doesn't water flow through the wand?

I tried to find an explanation online but there really aren't any great diagrammatic videos out there. So if anyone understands the mechanics of the machine and wouldn't mind typing up something simple, would really appreciate it.

Don't need to understand all the more technical components, but just the basics of where water comes in from and goes out to, based on which switch is activated, and why.
