Hello fellow Gaggia Cadorna coffee makers,
I am having an issue with my Cardorna. It makes really bitter coffees. When I use the equivalent bean but the ground version, in the ground shoot, it comes out beautiful. When I make it in a percolator its awesome.
However, when the machine grinds it, it does not taste the same. It has a lingering after taste. I'm pretty sure its bitter and not sour.
The settings when it grinds itself are grind setting 5, med temp, 3 beans [however no difference between 5 beans or 3 bean aromatic setting] and coffee amount is 30ml. If i do 40ml its still bitter and if I do 20 ml, its sour.
What is it that I could be doing wrong? I'm not a coffee making connoisseur which is why i got the super automatic.
I feel like I have tried every grind setting. How many shots should I put through it to know if its changed?
Here is the link to the coffee I use.https://coffeebeantrading.com.au/product/signature-blend-coffee-beans/
