I'm a folk musician and I'm trying to learn Amber by Afro Celt Sound System.

The challenge I always have with Gaelic lyrics is that, to my helpless American educated brain, the sounds I'm hearing and the written lyrics sound NOTHING alike.

Could anyone help me with some phonetic hints or even just a usable pronunciation guide?

Here are the lyrics (with translation) written out. I know the last verse is in French, not Gaelic. I've got that bit sorted.
