Pregabalin - Tolerance so fast?!

Started taking pregabalin a few weeks ago
In the beginning 300mg would get me 'drunk' - quite an interesting feeling. But now even 450mg does nothing for me.
What's up with this? Anything can be done about it besides tolerance break? Maybe a bit of alcohol will potentiate it
