Analog sounding synthesizer tracks?

I really love the sound of those retro synthesizers, the analog ones. I've listened to a lot of New Retro / Synthwave stuff and nothing really is scratching that itch.
What I'm talking about, you can hear in Gosh by Jamie XX, but only towards the end - link it's like a modulated soft sounding tone, it's really strikingly space-themed.
It seems to be common in all of the videos by Erik Wernquist, but I've never heard it really used in just regular tracks. I wonder if there's anything else out there that emulates that sound the same way?
