The large neon sign in the center of the city reminds anyone who may have forgotten their place of residence or what year it is - and with the drugs as good as they are now, that can be useful. The words fill up the darkness of the night in their bright neon blue and are reflected in a thousand puddles all around the drenched, pot-holed filled streets.

In one such street, a side road to an apartment block now ran entirely by gangs, where the rain falls heavily, the sound of another wet night is punctured by the creaking protests of a battered up police cruiser and the delighted grunting of its owner. The cop doesn't care about the weather. Or the state of the roads. Or even what year it is. All she cares about is what is in front of her.

Evie Thottnal. She'd try to claim she's a respected private investigator, the best PI in the country. And she's good at her job. There's no doubt about that. It's hard to say she's respected though when she's currently bent over the front over the police cruiser, being sodomized by a cop ten years her senior. Her panties are around her ankles.
