The contrast was striking.
Two types of women sat at the table, alternating in pairs. First, there were the housewives. Their long fake nails wrapped around wine glasses as they talked about the latest fashions, the newest gossip and the ongoing drama. They complimented each other on their dresses and hair, which had cost them more than many people make in a week. Wanda complimented Kaitlyn on her new breasts, which were on proud display in her strapless dress. In fact, all the housewives were showing off their cleavage, fresh implants or not. All wore dresses. All wore heels. All were the pinnacle of feminine extravagance and expensive beauty.
Second, were the breadwinners.
These were women who served as CEOs, women who owned companies, women who ruled the world. They were self sufficient, self confident and self made. Most of them wore rather masculine suits, rather plain style and rather comfortable looks. As their wives tittered and giggled, they shared the occasional smirk to one and other.
They were self made, but they hadn't started their companies. Rather, they'd all conspired to take them, to steal the success away from their bosses. A year ago they'd been interns, secretaries and maids. They'd been put upon, harassed and abused. And the housewives who were currently comparing their manicures had been inventors, businesswomen and captains of industry.
"Amanda, like, what was the name of that place we went on vacation last month? Acawhata?" asked Rachel, who'd once graduated from Harvard with top honors.
"Acapulco" smiled Amanda, looking at her wife with a triumphant grin.
"Right, Acupuca. I like, totally have to show you my bikini pics from when we were there!" she said as the other housewives giggled.
If only they'd used those big brains of theirs to realize that treating their employees so cruelly could backfire, they might still be able to use them.

I hope you enjoyed this post so far! I'm looking for literate partners to help me play out an rp in this world. As for who I'd be:
A friend of these former business women who'd investigate the sudden change in character and eventually get caught in your web.
The daughter of one of them, returning from college.
A reporter investigating them.
A maid or staff member at your mansion who starts to unravel the mystery.
A housewife whose hypnotism begins to wear off.
One of your suggestions.
I tend to write between 1-5 paragraphs per post. Also, I tend to really respond when someone puts the password "Serves her right" in the subject line. I'd love to brainstorm and hopefully have some fun in this world. And if you have any ideas, questions or suggestions, be sure to shoot them my way!
Can't wait to hear from you!
