Getting into ultimate team late on PC?

I used to play a lot of FUT back when I had a ps4, and this is the first fifa game I've bought since getting a PC just over a year ago. Right off the bat I'm noticing how much harder it is to make coins via mass bidding or sniping because there just aren't a lot of people using the transfer market on PC.
Any advice on how to progress with my team at this point in time on PC?
