I used a 3D printed hardtop as a fiberglass plug for my hardtop. Everything was a total of $300. Filament, plaster, polyurethane, back window, fiberglass and resin. It’s a stringy, fiberglass mess right now but I’m fitting the windows to seal shut from the elements as well as mounting my front performance brackets. Only when it is 100% mounted to the car, is when I start the body work. I’d hate to spend so much time making it symmetrical off of the car, just to mount it and realize it isn’t. HutchinsRacing on YouTube was a huge inspiration with his fastback design. TofuAutoWorks being a great help with his step by step videos of his fabricating methods. I as well have my own channel if you would like to follow along for the next update!
