So I’ve always used Fuji for street/landscape/family photography but never professionally. I absolutely love the feel and quality of Fuji and when they came out with the larger sensor I thought it was time to give it a shot and use it for my photography business. It’s just a small business I run myself but I care a great deal about my work and the quality I put out.
So I’ll get to the point and say that I am missing important shots mainly with subjects walking towards me. This could be the bride walking down the aisle or the wedding couple entering the reception. It constantly misses focus and I end up with 2 clear shots and 7 out of focus shots. I’ve got AF set to AF-C, performance mode set to boost (not sure if this make a difference) and subject/face defect on. What am I missing here? Is this a known issue? Is this what I should expect when it comes to Fuji continuous focus? I am hoping this is user error.
Sincerely, A frustrated and disappointed Fuji user.
