Hey all. Appreciate the assist here, hopefully this isn't too off the mark for allowed posts here.
I am looking to get back into photography after a decade or so away from it. My previous camera was a Sony NEX-5, which I didn't really enjoy much, so I'm looking to avoid the Sony side of things, it just never really clicked with me and I also tend to prefer the older style manual controls... as you can imagine, the X100VI is sure appealing.
However, the X100VI is available in absolutely zero places it seems, which is incredibly disappointing.
I understand that the X-T50 is more or less the same camera but allows for the option to swap lenses. If you were to suggest a lens, or two, that would fit the 30-40mm equivalent focal range what would you suggest? Looking for quality but also not extremely expensive. I'd like to be close to the same general price range as what I would be paying for the X100VI if possible.
I did search but couldn't really find anything in the search, which reddit tends to be awful at. If there is a thread for this please point me in that direction and I'll happily give it a read.
Thank you!
