I recently purchased a Sony 6400 but I’m thinking about switching to the Fuji X-S20. I really like the colors on Fuji as well as the film simulations. To preface, I’m a beginner/hobbyist when it comes to photography and videography. I don’t plan on spending hours in Lightroom to get the desired effects. That’s what’s really pushing me to Fujifilm and shooting in jpeg with the film simulations. I’d say I’d probably be doing 60% photos (travel, family and friends, nature, ect.) and 40% video of the same. I like how Fuji seems to be mostly centered around apsc, that’s what I’m used to and really don’t ever plan on going to a full frame with Sony.
I guess long story short: is it worth getting the x-s20 with the kit lens for $1699? Or stick with the body for $1299 and get a used lens? I’d prefer to buy the body new since I have some gift cards for Best Buy.
