What game was your jumping off point with Ubisoft?
Post Body

Mine should’ve been Farcry 6, I hated it but I tried and tried and tried but just couldn’t do it any more.

I was ropey with them at best for a while, only enjoying the odd thing such as Farcry 5 and GR Breakpoint.

The final straw for me was AC Mirage. I got fooled by the marketing because I wanted so desperately to go back to the AC games of old - I didn’t mind a few quality of life updates - but boy was I fucking wrong. I got my money back and have refused to buy anything Ubisoft ever since.

They said they were going back to their roots and their trailer has the Assassin using a special ability to teleport from enemy to enemy. No sneaking necessary, just press a button, and automatically kill everyone around you.

Remember when you could go on YouTube and find 20 minute long videos showcasing all the unique badass kill animations every weapon did? Mirage only had like one sword and dagger kill animation you did over and over again.
