So here I amā¦ making a community because I figured that it might be true. There are people who relate to me. Did you know that during COVID (12/20), 42% of US Adults said yes to feeling anxiety or depression? A HUGE jump from 2019ās 11%.
I feel that we hear a lot of āget over it,ā ādepression isnāt read,ā āwhat do you have to be sad about?ā
56.2% of young adults aged 18-24 were the most likely to report depressive feelings during these past few years. 48.9% aged 25-49.
Iāve made this place for everyone who has had or still has these feelings to vent, connect and ask for advice from one another. Iām thinking of recording a sort of podcast for what we post and talking through it, because at the end of the day, we arenāt alone. There are people out there feeling what youāre feeling or what you feltā¦ and they donāt know how to deal.
Iāll start us off with the first topic in my next post and hopefully this community gains some traction.
