EDIT: Hello r/gamingcirclejerk, I'm open for discussion and challenges to my view, and I'm open to consider counter-arguments. It would just be cool if we refrained from pointless attacks. Definitely start up a discussion though.

So, I truly believe in voting with your wallet.
For that reason, I haven't even installed the Epic Store once.
But last night I nearly caved as I am very desperate to play The Walking Dead Definitive Edition. All this time I thought it was available on the Windows Store and went there to buy it, finding out that only the Xbox One version is sold there.
I had myself hyped up so much to play it that I went to the Epic Games website and was hovering over the button to download the Epic Store.
In the end, I didn't. I don't think this is really an achievement and am not looking for glory points here, but it did leave me even more pissed off at the whole Epic situation and as no one in my life is really a PC gamer, this is the only place where I could just vent it out.
Anyway, I hope the game will come to Steam eventually, but doubt it as it was partly funded by Epic for development (rather than just a pay-off for exclusivity).
I'm not really into pirating, and haven't pirated for years (because of Steam and GOG making things easier), so not considering that route. I don't mind people that do, by the way.
Oh well, at least I got it a bit out of my system by posting here. Thanks for reading.
