Epic games has a history of developer abuse piling a horrible amount of work on its employees working on fortnight. Employees would say that they were working around 70 hours a week. They were technically volunteering to work the ludicrous overtime, but really, if they didn't work overtime, then certain workers in other fields would be delayed and so on. This would result in deadlines not being made, and naturally, firings would follow. This led to a horribly hostile work environment and led some people turning into "stress casualties" when someone burned themselves out so badly it led them to being completely useless and, of course, getting the boot. When management was asked about this, the response was, "Just get more bodies"
