First off this is a rant. I live in a reasonably big city and the lack of pedestrian only streets didn’t bother me too much up until about 10 am this morning when I was going to cross the street, looked and there was nothing there then mid crossing got hit by an idiot in his Audi who took the almost 90 degree ankle at speed.

I got knocked maybe 4 feet onto the ground and when I realised what had happened I heard this dude from his car window shouting and swearing at me for apparently not looking where I was going. He didn’t bother leaving his car then when I got up before I could even get the stuff that I’d dropped he’d sped off fast enough that I couldn’t even get my phone off the ground to take a photo of his registration plate.

Honestly I hate this shit I’ve been in nothing but pain all day, after going to the hospital I luckily haven’t broken anything and got off with some bad muscle bruising, lots of cute and scraps and a leg brace for 2 weeks. So no concussion and no broken bones so overall I got very fucking lucky.

I just, the shocks worn off but I’m so angry I’ve honestly never thought of posting on this subreddit before because most drivers on my city aren’t bad but all it takes is a bad egg to ruin it for everyone.
