we are dedicating all the space in the world to making cars fully protective and air conditioned with windows and sun roofs.
why do people who use outdoor transit have to pay the price by bearing any and every sort of weather while we wait 15, 20, 30 minutes to even start to get where we need to go?
why can't we sit down? why do we have to withstand pouring rain, an unusually cruel amount of sun and heat, and blizzards?
it's hostile architecture. it's ableism. it's classism. their comfort necessitates our suffering.
mothers, children, homeless people, and pretty much everyone else are at extremely high risk as it gets hotter and colder and more unpredictable every year - because of cars.
