New to Fubo - video quality is terrible?

I switched over to Fubo. My main priority is sports, particularly MSG SNY (Knicks, Rangers, Mets), and other than the one 4k channel I've found, which looks amazing, everything else looks like it's in standard definition.
I'm running Fubo on my Samsung Smart TV but I have 1gb internet.
Considering how great the 4k channel looks, I'm guessing it's a Fubo issue and not my connection.
Is this the norm? I was really excited to cut the cord but unfortunately this isn't going to do it for me.
