Wearing a light weight vest has eased my dysmorphia! Maybe this could be of help for some of you as well?

Post Body

I often get extremely aware of my hips, thighs and chest in a reeeally baad way, I get so intensely anxious I cannot do anything but curl up into a ball and pretend I don't have a body at all.

Now, I've bought a light weight vest. It's basically a wearable hug. The light pressure on my shoulders grounds me and I cannot fixate on my torso and thighs because the tactile sensation takes away my focus.

Of course, some people only get more anxious when applying pressure like this but I encourage you to try. For me, it has worked like a dream. Just wanted to let you know y'all.
