Considering Thyroplasty To Lower My Voice, Can I Still Sing & Do Voices Once Healed?

I like to sing on occasion and learnt a little professionally a while ago. Plus I do lots of different character voices for fun / when reading kids books etc. Will the surgery change all my voices?
