How to deal with openly transitioning?
Post Body

To make this a little clearer... I'm starting a new job soon, and in the midst of all these upcoming life changes I've been strongly questioning being FtM. My primary worry though is the very real potential of going through HRT, and actively changing and having it be noticable.

Previously at my old job I changed my name a few years into employment and co-workers were 100% open to it, but some struggled a little. But I feel like changing gender would be a noticably bigger hurdle. Especially in a job that is presently a crew of entirely women at the moment.

How have you guys navigated this? Do you stay in the closet until you find a new job and socially transition then, and just live that sort of selective double-life? Or did you come out when you felt comfortable about it?
