binding with tape after top surgery?

just because I like getting info from multiple sources I'm gonna ask it here (and my doctor). To those who have had top surgery, but still have tissue left that can require a binder, do you use tape? I'm 6 weeks post-op of lollipop top surgery (scar around the nipple and straight down from the nipple, like a lollipop) and 1 "breast" is still pretty big (verra uneven and bumpy cup a atleast). I don't need to wear binders anymore (medically) but that 1 side can bother me when it's visible through a t-shirt. So I was thinking of using tape to flatten it.

So I was wondering if anyone has had expience with this already. Thanx in advance

EDIT: I know it takes a really long time for all the swelling to subside. But I have exsive swelling. So I was just wondering for in the mean time. Cause yeah, one "breast" is still pretty visible through clothes. I have another check up in 3 months to see where we're at and what the expected result is
